I hold a Master’s degree in Filmmaking and a postgraduate qualification in Art Curating from the Rome University of Fine Arts. A human being has always been at the center of my creative focus, with their contradictory nature, illogicality, and complex feelings. I am interested in the inner mechanisms of man that cause tragedy. I guide the viewer toward the very moment that may answer the question: what is happening to me right now? A person who turns inward can see reality - this is the core of my art.
I work with a camera and different software. The video format offers me freedom from conventional constraints, allowing me to convey ideas through experimentation rather than established language. Additionally, working with audiovisual material provides significant flexibility in engaging various perceptual channels.
In my practice, I enjoy combining research and the ideas of contemporary and classical thinkers with my imagination. And, of course, I rely on my intuition as a Tatar woman, but you don’t know who we are, do you?
